World Leadership Alliance and Kingold Signed Strategic Partnership Agreement

The Guangdong Provincial Leader meets with the World Leadership Alliance Delegation

On the morning of March 23, 2015, Chen Yunxian, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, met with the World Leadership Alliance delegation. The delegation included Wim Kok, former Prime Minister of the Netherlands and Founding President of World Leadership Alliance; Jorge Quiroga, former President of Bolivia, Vice President of Club de Madrid; Danilo Turk, former President of Slovenia; and other six members. The Vice Governor made a brief introduction about the social and economic development of the province. He stressed that Guangdong was willing to strengthen its ties and build friendship with the rest of the world by seizing the opportunity presented by the construction of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. Wim Kok briefed everyone on the World Leadership Alliance and the delegation’s successful visit to Imperial Springs International Summit. 


Strategic Partnership Agreement signing between Kingold and World Leadership Alliance

On March 23, 2015, Jorge Fernando Quiroga, former Bolivian President and Vice President of Club de Madrid, signed a strategic partnership agreement with Dr. Chau Chak Wing, Chairman of the Kingold Group. Wim Kok, former Dutch Prime Minister and Founding President of the World Leadership Alliance; Danilo Turk, former President of Slovenia; and Xie Yuan, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) witnessed the signing ceremony. 


The two parties will carry out in-depth exchange and discussions on global issues in accordance with the principle of “giving full play to both parties’ strengths, and promoting cooperation and win-win.” The purpose is to promote social development, improve living standards, and develop friendly relations globally. 


Both parties agreed to host the World Development Forum at the Imperial Springs International Summit in the first half of 2016, together with other international organizations. The forum will address climate change, urban planning, environmental protection, the green economy, and other issues. A number of world leaders and experts will offer their insights and provide intellectual support and policy advice to the national and international organizations. 


The World Leadership Alliance is a large-scale international organization composed of more than 100 former leaders from more than 70 countries and regions.
